While chatting on the phone one afternoon, Ellen confided in her friend Janet about Max’s drinking problem and how worried she was.
“I just don’t know how to make him drink more,” Ellen said. “And I’m scared this is going to turn into something serious.”
Janet paused for a moment, then said, “Hang on… I’m coming over.”
Twenty minutes later, Ellen opened her front door to see Janet standing there, smiling, with a sleek, white box in her hands.
“This,” Janet said, “is the only reason my Bella hasn’t had another UTI in over a year. You’re going to want one.”
Inside a box labelled “PurePaw” was a modern, gently curved water fountain with a soft-flow spout.
“It’s designed specifically for dogs,” Janet continued. “Not one of those noisy, generic fountains that scare them off. The way it works actually makes them want to drink more, plus, it filters out all the nasty stuff from tap water that we’re never warned of.”
Ellen didn’t quite understand how a fountain could make such a difference… but she was willing to try anything.
